Introducing UVX™ — The Better Way To Purify Water
UVX™ Objectives
- To build the most compact, lightweight and portable water purification systems
- To eliminate pathogens in drinking water to U.S. EPA standards
- To enable distributed water purification across military camps and battle zones
- To achieve flow rates exceeding 10,000 gal. per day
UVX™ is Exclusively From Water Of Life
UVX™ is a breakthrough, ultraviolet-water-purification technology developed by Water Of Life®. It is major leap forward for water purification because it cleans water very well with a tiny amount of energy. UVX™ is so energy efficient, for example, that it purifies 53,000 L (14,000 gal.) of surface water to U.S.-EPA standards using a single car battery. UVX's efficiency and water quality are enough to justify it for military expeditions; however, UVX™ has other critical qualities.
UVX™ Is Portable, Rugged & Reliable
UVX™ components are lightweight, compact and durable. Its portability makes it unique. UVX™ Expeditionary Water Units (EWUs), for example, can be helicoptered, trucked or carried to remote locations. The technology is so compact that it enables distributed water purification in the field. Furthermore, UVX™ has demonstrated its leadership in water purification with years of successful field experience.

Technical Limitations
Nothing eliminates pathogens from water like UVX™; however, the technology has limitations. For example, it does not remove salt, radioactive, inorganic or organic particles from water.
