EWU Operation
The UVX™ Expeditionary Water Unit is designed for rapid deployment. Therefore, it is very simple to operate. Even individuals with limited mechanical experience (for example, changing a car tire) — can master the system in less than an hour.
One switch: on / off
— The system has just one switch. It turns the system on and off.
Two indicators: battery-life meter & hour meter
1) The system has an integrated battery discharge indicator that continuously shows percentage of battery charge remaining.
2) The system has a built-in cumulative hour meter that should be used with the maintenance schedule to determine when to service it under normal conditions.
Power Supply
The system can operate over 20 hours on one 90 amp hour (Group 27) deep cycle battery charge and indefinitely with a power generator.

*Water Of Life Expeditionary Water Units must be installed, operated and maintained in accordance with their manuals and local, state and federal laws. The manuals are intended for personnel who have a working knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment.
*Never operate the unit without water in it. Otherwise, damage could occur to the unit.
